OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY, HEALTH & EDUCATION

The IBEW Local 1319 OSHE (Occupational Safety, Health & Education) Department is dedicated to promoting a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous learning throughout our jurisdiction. Our mission is to ensure that every member has access to the training, resources, and support needed to perform their work safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest industry standards.

Through ongoing safety education, training programs, certifications, and awareness initiatives, the OSHE Department helps members stay current with OSHA regulations, industry best practices, and emerging workplace safety requirements. From OSHA 30 training opportunities to safety alerts, PPE programs, and educational workshops, Local 1319 OSHE is committed to providing the tools necessary to protect our members on and off the job.

The department also administers valuable member benefit programs, including FR clothing allowances, safety glasses programs, and boot reimbursement opportunities, helping members obtain the equipment they need to work safely every day. In addition, the Local 1319 OSHE Training Center serves as a hub for education and skills development, ensuring our members remain among the most highly trained and safety-conscious professionals in the electrical industry.

At Local 1319, safety is more than a requirement—it is a responsibility we share with one another. Through education, preparedness, and a commitment to excellence, the OSHE Department helps ensure that every member returns home safely to their families at the end of each workday.
